About the Books:
The Master of Things is an adventure book series written by Suzy Hart, which will debut in 2021.
Book One: An evil master is taking over the world’s networks, one by one, getting help from teenagers who are unaware the codes they are decrypting in their favorite video game are real passwords to routers, software, and operating systems. The shy young programmer Chickee Borelli wants nothing more than to beat the top level of this game and become the youngest Master of Things ever by collecting the most devices in the game. Winning would mean she’d top the record of her mean older brother and be noticed by her busy parents.
But when virtual and real worlds become blurred and her parents are wrongly arrested for cybercrime, Chickee must find evidence to free them and discover a way to stop the evil Grand Master from taking over the world’s devices to control the Internet of Things. A mere child, can she outwit him along the way and foil his plans, saving the world?

About the Author: Suzy Hart has loved writing fiction almost since she first picked up a pencil. The daughter of intellectual and creative parents she focused on art and writing during her formative years and was first published in her teens when she won a poetry contest. Certified in information security and business continuity with degrees in engineering, social science and strategic planning, Suzy is now retired from working in the fields of technology and security. She loves to blend her life experiences into her writing, which makes for pieces that are fanciful with a side of techno-tragic.
Suzy’s hobbies involve creative writing, painting, sculpting, and enjoying time outdoors with family and friends. She lives life the fullest and has been recognized with multiple awards, including United Way Provider of the Year, Big Brothers/Big Sisters Delaware Big Sister of the Year, Delaware Tech’s Network Engineering Student of the Year, and was a runner up for the prestigious international ISC2 Information Security Leadership award.
Hands down, Suzy’s most rewarding yet challenging role has been parenting all of her children, especially her daughter Tina who sustained a brain injury from a golf cart accident in 2015. This work has been both inspiring and heartbreaking, and helps to define the difference between what was seemingly important and what is truly significant. More about Tina’s story, written by Suzy (with a few posts by her husband Shawn) at www.caringbridge.org/visit/tinahart).
